Squier's Words
      Saturday..
Supposed to go out today on a usual Saturdate..
but Mum sucks. Dan terpakse la aku duduk rumah..
beli barang rumah..
buat keje rumah..
tengok muka2 orang rumah..
haiz..
rindu dgn orang tu :S
anyway life's been okay..
except that things hasnt change much at home..
many of us in our 20s wish for freedom..
but we cant get..
sad..
just have to live with it though..
we want freedom..
and fairness..
FAIRNESS.
speaking of that..
one day..
when me and bunkmates were talking..
we suddenly talked about the other forces..
in the SAF..
was just wondering..
now that i'm serving this country..
i wonder what's the actual reason..
why we MALAYS can't make our way..
into..
The Navy aka RSN?
The Air Force aka RSAF?
The Commandos?
is it cos the cookhouse aunty won't cook halal food?
is it cos u think we malays are malaysians?
come on..
marching commands are all in Bahasa Melayu..
you Chinks can't even say "Taat Setia" properly..
or be it "Hentataki".. u mean kentucky? sounds like jap food.
its supposed to be "Hentak kaki"..
God..
The First Infantry Regiment back in the 60s..
now known as 1SIR..
was a MALAY regiment..
and the Chinks at that point of time..
were communists..
serious, this is history indeed.
Even if a Malay recruit who fulfills the requirements to enter SISPEC..
can only end up in either Infantry, Medic Corps, Guards, or Logistics.
sick of these politics.
"Why do we serve if our loyalty to country is doubted?"
"Why can't we all be equal? Does Equality and Democracy exist?"
"Majulah Singapura. Are we turning into a Chinky Army?"
"If Army's becoming Chinky, why not make us malays serve HomeTeam?"
make it an All-Chinky Army, and an All-Malay HomeTeam, i mean.
hmm.. i wonder.
